The health and safety of our guests and community has been, and continues to be our number one priority. We want you to know that we have taken multiple measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, as well as our employees. Our employees in all departments have undergone specific Coronavirus training to ensure the highest levels of health and safety, and hygiene procedures.

Committed To Clean Standards

We are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19. Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, Heritage Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach Cleanliness Council is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and associates.

Cleaning

We are going above and beyond our normal protocols. We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency, dedicated staff, and recommended cleaning agents. We are spending extra time using sanitizing methods in advance of your arrival. After checkout, rooms are sanitized following strict industry cleaning procedures with particular attention paid to disinfecting door handles, hard surface furniture, and so on.

Face Mask Policy

Hotel Guests: As per CDC new guideline fully vaccinated guests have to wear masks indoors. Guests not fully vaccinated are always required to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces. It is expected guests will be honest about their vaccination status and will not be required to show proof of vaccination.

Hotel Employees: We strongly encourage our team members to get vaccinated if they are eligible. For the safety of our employees and guests, we will continue to require all employees working indoors to wear a face covering and practice social distancing, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will remain part of the employee uniform and employees must always keep a mask on their person at all times.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer is installed at hotel entrances, at our front desks, and our elevator. Hand sanitizer is available at all elevator landings. Elevator button panels are disinfected by an employee at least every hour.

Guest Rooms

In guest rooms, we are following rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants.

Food Safety

Our complimentary breakfast will still be served; we will have contactless buffet options, social distancing signage, and hand sanitizer spread throughout that area.
